A coastal village that grew up
Dobre Vode began as a small village of stone houses and olive groves. Over the past decades it has turned into a busy summer settlement with apartment buildings, holiday homes and family houses climbing the hill from the sea. Out of season it is calm, and a part of the residents stay all year.
The main beach lies in the bay below the village. Further south is Veliki Pijesak, a long sandy beach that is popular with families. Bar town, with its shops, port and services, is a short drive north along the coast road.
