This policy explains which personal data we collect on this website, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have. It applies to propertymontenegro.com and all its language versions.
1. Who we are
The controller of your personal data is Montenegro Prospects d.o.o., Jovana Tomaševića, building G9, L14/II, Bar, Montenegro, tax ID (PIB) 02691094, registration no. 5-0430302/008, operating as Montenegro Property by Montenegro Prospects. 2. What we collect and why
- Contact, property and agent inquiries: name, email, phone number, your message, the property you asked about and the page you sent the form from. We use them to answer you and to arrange viewings.
- Selling and property evaluation: the above plus the type and location of your property, the purpose of the evaluation and any photos you attach. We use them to prepare an offer or an evaluation.
- Job applications: name, email, phone, the position, how you heard about us and your CV. We use them only to assess your application.
- Newsletter and buying guide: your email (and name for the guide). We use them to send you what you asked for.
- Technical data: when you send a form we store your IP address to prevent spam and abuse. Our server records errors with the page address to keep the site working.
- Favourites and recently viewed properties are stored only in your own browser and are not sent to us.
We do not use your data for automated decisions or profiling and we do not sell it.
3. Legal basis
- Steps you request before a possible contract (answering inquiries, viewings, evaluations, job applications).
- Your consent (newsletter, buying guide, optional cookies). You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and free of spam.
- Legal obligations, where the law requires us to keep certain records.
4. How long we keep it
- Inquiries and attachments: 24 months from receipt, then deleted automatically.
- Job applications and CVs: 12 months, then deleted automatically.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your email.
- Error records: up to 90 days.
5. Who receives your data
Your inquiry is seen only by our staff who handle it. We use service providers for hosting the website and for sending email: [PROVAJDER HOSTINGA] and [EMAIL SERVIS]. They process data only on our instructions. Property listings we publish on portals such as Rightmove contain property data only, never your personal data.

7. Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, a copy in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Write to info@propertymontenegro.com and we will reply within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information of Montenegro (azlp.me) or with the data protection authority in your country.
8. Cookies and browser storage
Necessary cookies keep your session and protect forms. Any analytics or marketing cookies are used only after you allow them in the cookie banner. The list below is updated automatically when the site changes.
9. Security
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Attachments from forms are stored outside the public part of the server and are available only to our staff.
10. Changes
We will publish any change to this policy on this page with a new date.
